I am a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who trained at City University, London. My experience of working in several specialist clinical settings, along with my commitment to professional development, has provided me with thorough knowledge of a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. I ensure patients receive accurate assessment and effective treatment which leads to successful clinical outcomes.

The service I provide means no waiting times, a tailored approach to therapy and close links with other professionals as appropriate. I actively seek to improve patient treatment by; using evidence based interventions, embracing change, thorough analysis, pragmatism and creativity.

I set up Speech Language Therapy Limited in 2009 to bridge the widening gap between the increasing numbers of adults and teenagers with communication and swallowing difficulties and the shortage of NHS provision resulting in; long waiting lists, shorter periods of therapy and the curtailment of services to some patients.

I also provide training to individuals and teams on specific speech, language and swallowing impairments, as well as offering communication skills assessment and advice to adults and companies.

My professional registrations and licence to practise are maintained by undertaking regular continuing professional development and by receiving clinical supervision. I also clinically supervise other speech and language therapists.

I see patients in King’s Cross, London or at a location convenient for you.

I decided to become a speech & language therapist after having worked as a project and management accountant for a consultancy in London. I have also learnt to successfully manage a very severe stammer which I had until my 20s and this has provided me with some additional insight into people with communication difficulties.

 I have been a:

  • Certified Member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists since 2004
  • Registrant with the Health & Care Professional Council since 2004
  • Member of the Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice since 2007

I would be pleased to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have. This can be arranged via email, telephone, Skype or FaceTime.
